when ever i go home to philly, i am over come with a deep pulling feeling, back to a city that holds so much of who i am and what i love about the world. the diversity, the food, the feeling of life buzzing all around, the collage of historic architecture and the philly grit. did i mention the food? on one of the coldest days of the year, i went home and got to shoot this sweet family that inspired so much of what i love about philly. the diversity of the couple and the gorgeous children that embody two different worlds. we spent the afternoon right on the green infront of their house, and made some images that just go to show you, it doesn’t matter where you are, you can find beautiful moments in the love you have right in your own backyard. what made the visit even sweeter is that we got to wrap up our visit and warm our hands with a visit to grandma and grandpa’s house. there’s no better feeling than that!
