my favorites moments in photography and painting are when you feel an energy take over, you the photographer disappears, and you are acting as a vehicle for whatever creativity is pushing it’s way through. a blurred fog of color, composition and movement is flowing so quickly, snap decisions come and go without much thought, it’s all feeling. it’s these moments when i know whatever is coming, will be good and true, and to me, that is perhaps the most honored feeling you can have as an artist. it truly is a celebration of being inside of a moment, witnessing the moment with out ego, and letting go. this day was filled with moments like that. the energy of family and friends coming together in love, the gorgeous farm, the animals, the beautiful food. it was all good and true. there’s isn’t any more you can ask for.
